The start of this month acknowledged mental health in children, created by mental health charity, Place2Be.
Created to highlight the importance of mental health within our younger population, this year saw schools, and suchlike draw attention to this growing concern.
For us alone, we have seen a noticeable increase in the number of clients who are children, even in the last few years.
Social media, identity confusion, workload and growing pressures to fit in and belong are just some of the contributing factors we see in our clinics, which in turn have a damaging effect on our children’s mental health.
And whilst schools and parents are doing their part to address the mental wellbeing of their alumni, sometimes, the pressures surrounding children can develop and demonstrate through various behaviours and disorders in some cases.
So often we see parents in a state of despair, and hopelessness as they grapple with their child’s decreasing ability to function, all due to the rise of anxiety, stress, depression and ADHD.
With growing cases of these mental health disorders across our country, we are entirely committed to addressing the fallout, daily with our non-invasive neurofeedback specialist technologies, to regulate the brain and its activity and restore balance.
Our stance on this is simple, we must make a concerted effort to address the wellbeing of the next generation, working together to ensure their best possible future, after all, that was how The BrainCollective was born – seeking solutions for our youngsters.
