Clients we treat with Brain Injury all have different life stories. While there are a wide range of causes of Brain Injury, Neurofeedback has the potential to help with symptoms of all types with research showing significant improvements in mood, quality of sleep and cognitive abilities.
QEEG scores measure the health and flexibility of communication between different parts of our brain. Research shows 88% of people with mild head injuries improved their QEEG coherence scores by 50% with neurofeedback therapy.
We have seen significant improvements in working memory, immediate memory (with a 68-81% improvement in recall), attention, retention of information, and a reduction in depression and fatigue. Clients also note a meaningful improvement in occupational and social functioning. Even more encouraging was the marked improvement in speech, reading, writing and emotional stability coupled with a reduction of symptoms such as anxiety, anger and mood issues.
